middletown rape suspect captured

Police have nabbed the man they say raped a woman and caused a massive police response as they surrounded a house on Wawayanda Avenue on June 3. Jose Rodgriguez, 42, was arraigned in Middletown City Court on felony rape, criminal sexual act and assault charges for an alleged incident involving a 35-year-old Middletown woman he knew at 46 Wawayanda Ave. Bail was set at $100,000 cash or $250,000 bond. He'll be taken to Orange County Jail.
